Established in 1974 in Bowen, Girudala is a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community-Controlled Organisation. We deliver culturally informed housing, health, aged care and community services for Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and South Sea Islander peoples across the Whitsunday region.
For more than 50 years, our members, Elders and families have guided our work. Together, we walk alongside community with care, respect and cultural integrity, strengthening housing, health, wellbeing and connection.
