Girudala Newsletter Cover

Hello Everyone and Welcome to the July edition of the Girudala Newsletter,

NAIDOC Celebrations are officially upon us. On the Friday 7th July we will be holding our Walk for Reconciliation. If you will to be a part of this we will be assembling down at the Front Beach Soundshell around 8.45am with the walk commencing at 9am. We will be walking up to the Town Square (in between the library and council building) where Aunty Joyce MacDonald will be giving a speech on the significance of NAIDOC day. The Saturday will be our Family Fun Day which will be down at the Front Beach Soundshell again this year starting at 10am. There will be traditional dancing, Kup Murri, Murri-Oke and much more. Hope to see you all there.

The August General Meeting is coming up soon so keep and eye on our Facebook page and newsletter to see when that will be happening. Just a reminder that if you are applying for housing through Girudala you must be a member in order to get your application processed which means you must attend these meetings to get your membership passed

We are looking for expressions of interest for a homework program that we are interested in running at Girudala. If you would like to be apart of this, call our office on 4786 1000, email us at or respond to our Facebook posts.

Until next time, be healthy, happy and safe ………….

Dream big and dare to fail.
Norman Vaughan
